Commission amends CIP, approves Riley Construction bid for public works office work
After a bid came in $16,486 over the approved CIP, the commission approved amending the public works office project CIP from $40,000 to $56,486 to include wainscoting and awarded the contract to Riley Construction.

Public Works Administrator Jeremy Myers told the commission a recent bid for the public works office building exceeded the previously approved CIP by $16,486, largely because the recommended work included three-foot-high wainscoting to protect against salt and reduce future repair costs. He recommended increasing the CIP and awarding the bid to Riley Construction to proceed.
