The Harlan County Planning and Zoning Board submitted an updated comprehensive plan on Oct. 7, 2026, which county officials included in the Oct. 20 meeting packet. On a motion by Supervisor Mike Clements, seconded by Supervisor Jeff Bash, the board set a public hearing for Nov. 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Johnson Center in Alma to take public comment on the plan.
