Decatur County launched its Notify Now emergency notification system with more than 600 enrollments in the first week and began radius mapping work to integrate with the Vesta 911 system; residents who were on Code Red must re-register for Notify Now.

County officials announced that the Decatur County Notify Now emergency notification system is active and that more than 600 people enrolled in its first week. Officials said residents who were registered on the former Code Red service must register again; Code Red will remain active for a short period before being deactivated.
