County highway and emergency management staff briefed the commissioners on multiple post-storm and maintenance items on Aug. 17. Staff reported roughly 24 tree-related incidents caused by a wind event followed by flooding and said coordination with EMA is underway to support an emergency declaration and cost submissions. No structural losses were reported.
