County will decline Albany request to add elected officials to Land Bank board
The City of Albany recommended adding elected representatives to the Albany/Dougherty County Land Bank Board; Dougherty County by unanimous consent directed staff to send a letter declining the change and will not take action at the upcoming regular meeting.

Paul Forgey, director of the Albany/Dougherty County Land Bank, presented the city's recommendation to amend the Intergovernmental Agreement to add one elected representative from each government to the Land Bank Board. Forgey described the current board as functioning efficiently and open to public input.
