The Rome Floyd County Development Authority opened its called meeting on Sept. 8, 2026, with a quorum confirmed by Andy Davis of Davis Lucas Carter. Rhonda Wallace moved to approve the minutes of the Aug. 18 meeting and Lowery May seconded; the minutes record that Jimmy Byars, Jim Bojo, Lowery May, Ryan Miller, Doc Kibler, Evie McNiece and Rhonda Wallace voted in favor.
