Butler Rough Hollow Park on schedule for May 2027 substantial completion, staff says
Project engineers told council earthwork and underground utilities are complete at the 11-acre Butler Rough Hollow Park site; inspections and a concrete pour are imminent and the team expects public opening in summer 2027.

Pape Dawson principal Ryan Thomas and project engineer Varsha Gupta updated council on Butler Rough Hollow Park construction, reporting that the notice to proceed was issued June 15, 2026 and that site earthwork and underground utilities are complete. "The notice to proceed was provided on June 2026. As of today, the earthwork has been completed and the underground utilities are in place," Gupta told the council.
