Police Chief Bob Weier reported to the Mineral Point Police & Licensing Committee on June 3 that the department conducted 48 traffic stops during the past quarter, issuing seven citations and seven warnings. "There were 48 stops, 7 citations issued, and 7 warnings issued," Weier said while presenting the quarterly report.
