Commission tables conditional use permit pending DOE variance
Walworth County commissioners tabled a conditional use permit in their Planning & Zoning session, saying the Department of Environmental (DOE) must first receive and approve a variance before the county will act. The motion to table passed unanimously.

Chairman Randy Carlson convened the Planning and Zoning portion of the Sept. 23 meeting, and Commissioner Jim Houck moved to table consideration of a conditional use permit until the Department of Environmental (DOE) receives and approves a required variance. Commissioner Duane Mohr seconded, and the motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote.
