On Sept. 30, 2025 the Monroe County Human Services Committee adopted Resolution 25-0296 to accept a grant from the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance for the Monroe Ladder Demonstration Program. Legislator Mercedes Vazquez Simmons moved the referral and Legislator Rose Bonnick seconded; the committee adopted the measure 8-0.
