The Monroe County Human Services Committee on Sept. 30, 2025 authorized a contract with Cure Violence Global to provide a comprehensive training program for violence prevention for the Department of Public Health (Resolution 25-0285). The motion was moved by Legislator Mercedes Vazquez Simmons, seconded, and adopted 8-0.
