The Chair called a special St. Lawrence County board meeting on October 19 to organize a Republican committee to choose a replacement after "legislator Jeanette" submitted a letter of resignation dated Oct. 5. "What I would like to do, with regret that legislator Jeanette has resigned," the Chair said, identifying the meeting's purpose.
