Lincoln County held a short public hearing Oct. 20, 2026 in the county circuit courtroom. Planner Traci Perkins read staff reports for three rezoning files: #2026-R5 (21 Mason Rd, rezoning to A-2 for subdivision and duplexes), #2026-R6 (12 Old Huntsville Rd, rezoning to C-1 to formalize a car lot), and #2026-R7 (187 Shelbyville Hwy, rezoning to C-1 for a packaging business). The transcript records that Lindsey Jester of 58 Mason Rd spoke against File #2026-R5; there were no other public comments recorded.
