Super 8 manager asks commission to honor prepaid event reservations despite CO revocation
The Super 8 property manager asked whether prepaid reservations for a nearby event (Oct. 21–24) could be honored even though the motel's certificate of occupancy has been revoked; staff said any exception depends on completion of required inspections and reinstatement of the CO.

Manoj, who identified himself as the property manager for the Super 8 at 1709 S. US Highway 287, told the commission the motel holds about 40 prepaid reservations for a special event running Oct. 21–24 and asked whether those reservations could be honored. "From 21st to 24th, we have, like, 40 reservations in our property," he said, noting many guests prepaid and some reservations cannot be easily canceled due to missing contact information.
