Commission approves demolition order for substandard house at 302 South Lane
After staff reviewed the history and a final commission order, the Building Standards Commission approved a motion to demolish the unmaintained property at 302 South Lane and authorized the city to place a lien for demolition costs if the owner does not comply.

Staff presented case no. 3348 for the property at 302 South Lane and explained the property had been previously determined substandard and the owners had not acted on required repair or demolition steps. A commission member read the October 19 supplemental order (Order No. 2026‑10) that directs the city to remove the substandard structure and place a lien on the property for removal costs if the owner fails to pay.
