The board distributed its votes for the Hockley County Appraisal District Board of Directors election, assigning 70 votes to Larry Carter and 70 votes to Pete Stracener for the 2025 and 2027 terms. The transcript records: "70 Votes to Larry Carter & 70 Votes to Pete Stracener." Blake Thrash moved the distribution, Chad Brooks seconded, and the motion carried with a 4-0 recorded vote and three absences.
