The Blue Ridge City Council adopted ordinance BR-2026-21 in its second reading to establish the city's ad valorem tax rate for calendar year 2026 and the 2027 fiscal year. Chair (speaker 2) opened the public hearing, allowed public comment and, after no speakers stepped forward, called for a motion. Lawmaker (speaker 3) moved to adopt the ordinance; the motion carried on a voice vote.
