Weld County authorizes TANF (Colorado Works) amendment for FY2027
Deputy director Tammy Grant requested and the board approved Amendment No. 1 to the county's Colorado Works (TANF) funding for FY2027, authorizing the chair to sign.

Tammy Grant, deputy director of the Weld County Department of Human Services, told commissioners the amendment will allow the county to receive funding for FY2027 to support Colorado Works (TANF) implementation. "This is amendment number 1 for our temporary assistance for needy families, funding and initiative," Grant said, and she confirmed legal review had been completed.
