County HR told commissioners on Oct. 20 that a months-long review of county job descriptions found many records last updated 10–20 years ago and in inconsistent formats. The HR presenter said the effort separates required from preferred qualifications, clarifies reporting lines and supervisory authority, and identifies essential duties to give hiring managers and applicants a clear baseline.
