Board refuses easement across graves in ATC transmission-line request

Barbara Parlow of Land Service Company attended to explain American Transmission Company’s (ATC) right-of-entry and easement request. Parlow said ATC is likely seeking contiguous easements. Town Chair Edward Smith and Supervisor Brad Sabel raised concerns that the proposed easement crosses graves and noted the existing easement had stopped at gravestones in the past.
