The Commission unanimously approved allocating the remaining $10,000 to the Covington County Economic Development Commission to support business recruitment after a request from Jacob Morgan.

Jacob Morgan, representing the Economic Development Board, requested the remaining funds allocated for economic development. Commissioner Ben Courson said a business is coming to Opp and praised Morgan's work to attract employers; Courson moved to allocate the remaining $10,000 and Commissioner Lynne Holmes seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
