Jackson County supervisors approved Ordinance No. 08-2026-01 to amend Chapter 2.01, Appendix A, of the General Code to designate the Law Enforcement and Emergency Management Committee as the Grievance Committee under Wis. Stat. § 59.26(8) and the newly restated Wis. Stat. § 59.265(3) created by 2025 Wisconsin Act 196. The ordinance was adopted on a voice vote; the minutes record 17 Aye.
