Decatur County activated the Notify Now emergency-notification system and reported more than 600 enrollments in the first week; residents who were on Code Red must re-register and radius mapping work has begun to integrate with the Vesta 911 system.

County officials announced that Decatur County's Notify Now emergency-notification system was active and that more than 600 people had enrolled during its first week. Residents who were enrolled in the previous Code Red system must register again for Notify Now; Code Red will remain active briefly but will be deactivated.
