The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to approve a Community Development Block Grant joint application on April 21, 2026. Commissioner Christina Yunker read the resolution; Commissioner Luis Rosado moved approval and Commissioner Rusty Baker seconded. The roll-call vote was 7–0 in favor and Resolution 6-2026 was adopted.
