Council hears request for specific-use permit for Bright Star Pharmacy compounding facility

Planning staff presented a request for a specific-use permit to allow Bright Star Pharmacy to operate a compounding/manufacturing use at 10505 Fountain Gate Drive; staff said the use is compatible with the zoning district, will reuse an existing 5,900-sf building and could create about 12 jobs. The public hearing closed with no speakers and council moved toward consideration.
