Sebewaing’s council on Sept. 15 approved multiple Light & Water actions: a $23,005.00 quote from Northern Pump & Well to repair Pump #3, a three‑year Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software agreement for $27,498.19, participation in the Michigan Public Power Agency (MPPA) Retail Energy Improvement Program and adoption of a Municipal Utility Energy Waste Reduction (EWR) Program Portfolio for 2026–2029. The council also approved the department’s financial statement and operating statistics for July 31, 2025 as submitted by Superintendent Charlene Hudson.
