Court approves hiring Romy Gonzalez as county office manager at $40,000

County staff said they located an office manager candidate, Romy Gonzalez, with roughly 20 years of administrative experience and presented a compensation request to start her at $40,000 rather than the initially offered $38,000. "We did offer the position to her. Offered it at 38,000... and so also with all of her experience... we're gonna ask and request that if we get bumped her start at 40 to 40 instead of 38," staff said.
