Several residents questioned why a council member who resigned in June over accusations of "troubling disregard for proper procedure and transparency" returned to run again. Renee Marler asked for a clear explanation of what changed between the resignation letter and the decision to return, saying the public "deserves a clear explanation of exactly what changed between June 11 and today."
