Council adopts comprehensive plan update and code changes on parks, childcare and middle housing

The council adopted two legislative items after staff presentation and public process. Ordinance 6,514 updates the Hillsboro Comprehensive Plan to correct parks and recreation references and Section 33 public facilities; the roll call recorded 'Aye' votes and the ordinance was adopted. Immediately after, the council adopted Ordinance 6,516, updating the community development code to align with new and existing state regulations concerning childcare facilities, residential treatment facilities and middle-housing land division.
