County staff said the long-range planning committee will publish RFPs for window and exterior work on the Annex on Aug. 26 and Sept. 2, 2026, with proposals due Sept. 11. The Community Building has hosted events since February 2026 and has bookings into 2028; operational issues include noisy fans, blown circuits in the food-prep area, poor drainage from cooling units, and the need for a podium and AEDs.
