Decatur County approves right-of-way contract for Bridge 131; Bridge 141 flagged for interim repairs
Commissioners approved a right-of-way consulting contract for Bridge 131 to meet a FY2027 deadline and heard that Bridge 141, a deteriorating concrete arch with a 10-ton limit, may need about $100,000 in repairs before its planned 2030 replacement.

The board authorized a consultant contract with United/USI for right-of-way consulting on Bridge 131 (200 South at the county line). The contract was approved by motion from Gabe Nobbe, seconded by Brian Wenning; staff said the right-of-way work must be completed within fiscal year 2027.
