Decatur County announced the activation of its Notify Now emergency-notification system; county staff reported more than 600 people enrolled during the first week following the system's launch. Residents who were enrolled in the county's previous Code Red system must re-register for Notify Now; Code Red will remain active briefly while being decommissioned.
