Council approves Resolution 2026-2 declaring several dormant town funds
On Sept. 15 the council approved Resolution 2026-2 authorizing the clerk-treasurer to close several dormant fund accounts, including opioid settlement and sewage-related funds.

President Scott Deyoe read Resolution 2026-2, "A Resolution Declaring Dormant Fund Accounts," listing four funds the clerk-treasurer is authorized to close: FUND 2257 (Opioid Settlement Restricted), FUND 6102 (Water 2015 Refunding Bond P/I), FUND 6202 (Sewage), and FUND 6208 (Sewage Utility Cash Reserve). Craig Standish moved to approve the resolution; James Skinner seconded and the motion carried.
