West Rusk board hears mixed STAAR results and strong CTE growth
Curriculum Director Kaitlyn Milby told the board the district is below targets on several STAAR measures (35% target, 29% actual overall; 3–5 math 21% vs 41% target) but reported outsized gains in CTE enrollment (85%) and industry certifications (66%). Region 7 intervention specialists are working with staff to plan interventions.
