The Slaton City Commission on Sept. 14 approved the city’s FYE 2027 operating budget and adopted a 2026 tax rate of $0.711169 per $100 valuation. Commissioners voted unanimously to adopt Ordinance #853 (budget) and Ordinance #854 (tax rate).
