District facilities staff and project consultants gave the board a detailed update on the district bond program, saying bids for three elementary additions will be opened the following day and that staff expect to present a refined budget at the Oct. 27 meeting. Mark Williams, the district project lead, said the elementary HVAC estimate is tracking at $12.4 million, modestly above the original $12 million scope, and that the elementary roof replacements will be three‑layer systems with 30‑year warranties.
