Ross Township asked to declare 2026 road projects a necessity, commit to design and contracts

According to the agenda for the Ross Township Board of Trustees meeting on Nov. 6, 2025, the Road department asked the board to approve a 2026 projects list to be performed through the Butler County Engineer’s Office and to "move the adoption of Resolution No. 2025-067 declaring a necessity for the repair, maintenance, reconstruction, resurfacing or improvement of various roadways within Ross Township." The agenda frames the resolution as a declaration of necessity that "orders the design to move forward and commits the Township to the contractual expenses."
