Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2025-001 to approve a Joint Comprehensive Plan. Planning Commission members praised joint work with two townships and said the effort may qualify the Village for a Southwest Michigan Planning Commission award.

President Pro Tem Jackson moved, with support from Trustee Mead Jr., to adopt Resolution 2025-001, the Joint Comprehensive Plan. Council approved the resolution on a 7-0 roll-call vote.
