Community Development Director Joe Janish presented a package of proposed code amendments and asked the council for direction on definitions and implementation. The staff report recommended clarified definitions for "deck" and "porch" and noted that defining features such as an attached pergola requires checking consistency elsewhere in the code and with the building code.
