Chief Bauer reiterates compost-site rules; camera system upgrade underway

Police Chief Bauer reviewed recent police activity and reminded residents that "the Village compost site is open to Village and Town of Spencer residents only, and that it is for the disposal of yard waste only, including grass clippings, garden waste, leaves, and tree branches." He specified that unacceptable items include garbage, landscaping timbers, railroad ties, construction lumber singles, and insulation, and noted that violators are subject to citations.
