Several council members gave brief reports on regional boards and community events. Council Member Sullivan described recent RTA activities, including a 6.4% ridership increase, a youth ride‑free promotion in effect through June 30, 2027, and free rides for veterans on Nov. 11 with appropriate ID. Sullivan also summarized an RCTC transit‑needs hearing in which public comments stressed more routes, more frequent service, improved stops, and affordability.
