The board received an update from the Merton Values committee about a pilot of open educational resources (OER) in selected classrooms. Staff said teams chose three OER packages and that pilots are early: most classrooms had completed first units (one lesson per week) and would take roughly six to eight weeks per unit. Letters were sent to families in pilot classrooms with links to the materials.
