Council approves several operator licenses; one application tabled
The council approved operator licenses for two Sylvers Bar applicants and one for Indee Mini Mart & Independence Market, and tabled an additional operator license application for further review.

The Independence City Council approved multiple operator licenses during the Aug. 3 meeting. Councilmember Randy "Bushy" Symicek moved to approve C. Cox and J. Kindschy for Sylvers Bar; Pat "Shorty" Kotlarz moved to approve J. Kindschy; and Elaine Conrad moved to approve K. Larson for Indee Mini Mart & Independence Market. All approvals were carried by voice vote.
