The Chairman called for a recommendation to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Jim Boyd Construction (Albany, GA), for the 2025 Drainage Improvement Project in the amount of $196,580. Assistant County Administrator Barry Brooks said three bids were received; the highest bid totaled $370,506.73. Funding for the project was budgeted in SPLOST VII, and Public Works Director Chuck Mathis provided an overview of the geographic locations the work would cover in response to Commissioner Gaines' questions.
