Cook County HRA audit returns clean opinion, flags two management items
Redpath and Company reported an unmodified (clean) opinion on the Cook County HRA 2025 financial statements, noting a $889,000 year-end fund balance and two recurring management concerns: limited segregation of duties and inconsistent coding of revenues and expenses. An unspent $501,000 in ARPA funds must be spent by end of 2026.
