The Commission approved a $28,164.80 budget amendment to complete a previously approved drone purchase for Dougherty County Police; Assistant Administrator Barry Brooks said DCP currently has no drones and will brief the Board on intended uses.

The Commission approved a budget amendment of $28,164.80 from the Special Service District Fund Balance to finalize the purchase of a drone for Dougherty County Police. The Board had previously approved the drone purchase on April 21, 2025 but the order lapsed because of production delays and closure of the FY25 purchase order.
