The Floyd County Merit Board on March 17 approved creation of a Deputy Chief Appraiser job classification at paygrade 36 for a newly created vacancy in the Tax Appraiser's Office. The action was introduced by Susan Gass, Admin Services Division Director, as part of a leadership and succession plan for the department.
