The full story
Public Works Director Curtis Mader proposed a 2026 landfill engineering services contract with SCS Engineering following a Request for Qualifications that produced three responses. Mader said the contract is a catch-up agreement to allow SCS to review existing documents, visit the site, develop an updated environmental compliance calendar, and prepare for environmental consulting in 2027. The authorized contract amount is $64,432, with staff currently anticipating about $39,920 in early expenditures; the contract is time-and-materials so the County pays for services performed.
