The commission approved Resolution 25‑030 authorizing execution of the FY2026 contract between the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (on behalf of the UGA Cooperative Extension Service) and Dougherty County to cover salary, retirement, Social Security and Medicare costs for five county extension agents. Commissioner Anthony Jones moved for approval; Commissioner Clinton Johnson seconded and the vote was unanimous.
