Town reports progress on backflow devices and second water entry point
Town Manager Bob Stevens reported that backflow-prevention devices are being installed and that one will be required at the Veterans Memorial; he also said a verbal agreement was reached for a pump-vault deed for a second entry point at Buckhorn Road/East Harrington and that work will progress once the deed is signed.

Town Manager Bob Stevens told the Board that he has contacted property owners about installing backflow prevention devices and that a few have been exempted because they are already addressing their issues; he said the Town will need to install a device at the Veterans Memorial. "A few have been exempted because they are already handling their issues now. The Town will have to install one at the Veterans Memorial," Stevens reported.
